When symptoms persist
You’ve had tests done, followed advice, or tried all kinds of things.
Yet the symptoms persist, or it remains unclear why you don’t feel well.
That doesn’t mean nothing is happening physiologically.
Symptoms can be signs of underlying dysregulation. That’s why I don’t look at the symptom in isolation, but at the processes and circumstances that may be causing or maintaining it.
It’s not only about what you feel, but also why.
How can I help you?

Digestive complaints
Abdominal pain, bloating, reflux, constipation or diarrhoea, or reaction to certain foods?
Even when tests show no clear abnormalities, physiological mechanisms may still be causing or maintainging your syptoms.
Together we explore which mechanisms may be playing a role in your situation and what may be maintaining your symptoms.

Persistent fatigue
Does fatigue persist, even when you try to rest or live a healthier liestyle?
Fatigue can develop when processes involved in energy, recovery and physiological load get out of balance.
Together, we explore which mechanisms may be playing a role in your situation and what is needed to support recovery.

Support during and after cancer
Cancer treatment places considerable demands on your body. Fatigue and other symptoms can also persist long after treatment.
Through nutrition and lifestyle, we specifically support processes that may come under additional strain duing treatment and recovery, alongside and in coordination with your medical care.
How I work
No standard protocol, but a personalised puzzle
During the initial assessment, we take a detailed look at what is going on. Not only your current symptoms, but also your diet, sleep, physical activity, stress physiology, medication, environment and personal history.
Using clinical psychoneuroimmunology (cPNI) as a framework, we look at how processes involving, among others, metabolism, the immune system and the nervous system interact. This allows us to develop a working hypothesis about the mechanisms that may be causing or maintaining your symptoms.
We then translate this into targeted, achievable changes in nutrition and lifestyle. No rigid protocol, but interventions tailored to your situation, with a clear understanding of why you are using them.
This gives you not only insight, but also agency: you gain a better understanding of what is happening in your body and where you can take action yourself.
