How do I proceed?

There is no standard treatment, because you are unique and so is your "life movie".

That is why I do not work with standard protocols, but treat you as an individual and take the time for that.

Even though my work is absolutely tailor-made, I have a fixed working method in which we go through a number of steps together. I will briefly explain these steps below so that you have an idea of how I work. You are the center of attention, so it is important that my working method suits you.

01

Initial interview

I can imagine that you have questions about orthomolecular therapy according to the PNI and/or lifestyle coaching, about my working method and whether or not I can do something for you, but also whether we will "click" between us.

If you would like to have more clarity before starting a process, make an appointment for an introductory meeting.

There we can go through these aspects together and get to know each other a little better.

You can then decide whether to make an appointment for an intake consultation.

Such an introductory meeting usually lasts 15 to 30 minutes and is free of charge.

02

Intake consultation

If you have booked an intake consultation, I will send you a questionnaire to complete in advance. This questionnaire contains both specific health and general lifestyle aspects and will serve as a basis for our intake consultation.

I also ask you, regardless of the type of complaints you come for, to keep a food diary for at least one week.

This gives me an idea of your general health, complaints, diet, lifestyle and environmental factors that can influence your health.

I will also ask you to clearly state your expectations, because the focus will be on what you would like to achieve.

You can return any recent laboratory results that you received from your GP or specialist together with your completed questionnaire.

With all this information I prepare for the intake consultation.

During the intake consultation we will go through the food diary questionnaires you completed and go into more detail about certain questions that I identified during the preparation. We also look together at the lifestyle aspects that have an impact on your health and determine together which changes are feasible for you.

At the end of the intake consultation, you go home with an advice with the first steps to undertake to regain control over your health. Based on our discussion I do further research and prepare a detailed advice which we will discuss during the first consultation, which usually takes place one week after the intake consultation.

I take the time necessary for this intake consultation, but I charge a fixed price. Such an intake consultation usually lasts 60 to 90 minutes and costs 95 euros.

03

Follow-up consultation

Based on the intake interview, I investigate further and draw up a recommendation with a number of interventions. These may include adjustments in lifestyle, biorhythms, diet, exercise, social interaction and possibly nutritional supplements.

At the first follow-up consultation, I go through this advice with you and I also give you a clear explanation of why I recommend these interventions and how they can affect your health. In clinical Pycho Neuro Immunology (kPNI), this is called "deep learning" and is considered an essential element in motivating and helping you to bring about change.

Further follow-up consultations usually take place after 4 to 6 weeks, a rhythm that you decide for yourself. During these further follow-up consultations, we monitor your symptoms and see what further steps we can take. The coaching aspect also plays an important role during these follow-up consultations.

Follow-up consultations cost 75 euro per consultation

Questions in between?

If you have had a consultation and have a quick question, you can always send me a message via Whatsapp or email.

This is free of charge.

REIMBURSEMENTS

Since 2021, it has been possible in the Netherlands for consultations at SavOur Health to be partially reimbursed through supplementary health insurance.

The guidance provided by SavOur Health falls under naturopathic and integrative care, with a strong focus on nutrition, lifestyle, and system regulation. The guidance is individual and structured as a trajectory. Within this trajectory, supporting self-regulating processes is central, in the context of a person’s health and living environment.

For health insurers, these consultations are declared under orthomolecular therapy (performance code 24000). This is the administrative performance code used by health insurers for this type of care.

SavOur Health is affiliated with the professional association NWP, which is recognized by a large number of Dutch health insurers. On the NWP website, you can find an up-to-date overview of insurers with whom reimbursement may be possible. In addition, SavOur Health is affiliated with the NAP (Dutch Association for Psychotherapy). This affiliation underscores the professional and ethical framework within which the guidance is provided..

Whether and to what extent consultations are reimbursed depends on your supplementary insurance and the applicable policy conditions. The invoice for a consultation at SavOur Health does not fall under the deductible (own risk) of the basic health insurance. If you have questions about reimbursement or are unsure whether your insurance covers this care, please contact your health insurer or consult your policy conditions.
